I think what he said is true in the short term. However, in the next 2-3 years market seemed to correct itself. Immigration will reverse with a new PC government. Lots of people are leaving Calgary back to Vancouver and Toronto due to increased cost, poorer life style, etc. More rentals will come online based on the downtown office to residential conversion projects which will impact the rental market and combined with the still high interest forcing investors to sell since they are bleeding cash as we have seen already. When you combine all factors, think the prices are due for a self correction but to what extent is the key question
